On November 17, 2020, Professor Alexander Zuyev Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems conducted academic exchanges with teachers and students of the College of Communication Engineering online. The seminar was hosted by Professor Yu Shuyou.
Professor Zuyev delivered an academic report titled “Stabilization of nonlinear controllable systems by fast oscillating controls”. At the beginning, he gave a brief introduction of the research on the stability conditions of vibration control, and carried out had an in-depth discussion on stability and controllability. And he also gave a detailed description of the incomplete system and the result of exponential stability. Finally, the professor explained the Obstacle Avoidance Problem in detail from problems to functions and cases.
The report provided the teachers and students a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of vibration control theory. During the meeting, teachers and students actively asked questions, communicated and discussed, and benefited a lot.
Alexander Zuyev, he obtained his University Diploma from Donetsk National University (Donetsk, Ukraine in 1997) and PhD degree from the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Donetsk, Ukraine in 2000) in Mechanics respectively. After his graduation he started his career in the Donetsk State University of Management (Donetsk, Ukraine) from 2000 to 2002, worked in the Donetsk National University from 2005 to 2014 and supervised 6 PhD students at the Institute of Applied Mathematics & Mechanics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine & 18 Master students at the Donetsk National University, Ukraine. Since 2018 he is attached with Otto Von Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany and working as a senior scientist.
