报告内容简介:
Cognitive radio transceivers can opportunistically access the underutilized spectrum of existing wireless systems.RF energy harvesting could provide convenient and potentiallyperpetual energy supply tolow-power wireless sensors. In this talk, we explore a new communication paradigm of cognitive wireless transmission with RF energy harvesting. Such paradigm is especially attractive for future sensor applications, in view of increasingly limited spectrum resources and growing ecological impact of wireless systems. In particular, we will investigate theextended delivery time of secondary packet transmission with interleave cognitive implementation. We will also studythe delay performance of overlaid wireless sensor transmission powered by RF energy harvesting. In both cases, the accurate mathematical formulation is illustrated with selected numerical results, from which we develop important design
guidelines.
